Job description

As a React Native Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of our mobile applications using React Native. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire mobile development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. This position requires strong technical expertise in React Native, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of mobile applications using React Native, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers to define project requirements and deliverables
• Architect and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet business objectives and user needs
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in best practices and fostering a culture of learning and growth
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and performance optimization
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions to enhance development processes and productivity
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in mobile development, incorporating new technologies and methodologies as appropriate
• Collaborate with QA engineers to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring the reliability and stability of mobile applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and challenges in a timely manner, maintaining the integrity and performance of mobile applications
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and technical considerations

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 7-10 years of professional experience in mobile application development, with a focus on React Native
• Proven track record of leading mobile development projects from concept to deployment, preferably in a team lead or tech lead role
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and development best practices
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries and services
• Prior experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira
• Passion for technology and a drive to stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in mobile development

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and serverless architecture
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities
• Experience with other frontend frameworks such as React.js or AngularJS
