Job summary

smartdata enterprises inc. is seeking a skilled software engineer proficient in React Native and modern JavaScript to join our team in Mohali.

You will work with React.js, Redux workflows, ES6/ES5, and RESTful APIs, contributing to both frontend and backend interactions with relational databases such as PostgreSQL. You will mentor peers, design scalable solutions, and collaborate across departments using Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React Native.
• Experience with React Js and Redux workflows.
• Familiarity with ES6/ES5 and isomorphic React a plus.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Experience with version control, Unix tools, and Agile practices.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Job description

• Thorough understanding of React Native and its core principles- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience in React Js, Javascript, Ruby on Rails (preferred)- Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6 & ES5 )- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Working knowledge of git for version control- Understanding of Unix tools
• A user-centric mentality for building products

Roles and responsibilities:

• Proficient in SQL, NoSQL, relational database design and methods for efficiently retrieving data
• Experience building complex and non-interactive systems batch, distributed, etc.
• Be responsible for the technical design and experience in guiding/mentoring others.
• Strong OOPS knowledge, including experience with design patterns
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL/Oracle
• Experience with enterprise application servers like Tomcat/Weblogic/Websphere.
• Exposure to Web Services SOAP and RESTFUL
