Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Web Developer to join our Chennai team. You will work across the stack using React.js with hooks, and Node.js with Express.js, delivering scalable web applications in an Agile setting.

You should be proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs/GraphQL, and databases; familiarity with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and security best practices will be valued. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack web development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js, including hooks, state management (Redux/Context API), and component-based architecture.
• Solid experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, React Testing Library, etc.).
• Understanding of web security best practices (authentication, data validation, CORS, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
