Ascendion is seeking a talented Frontend Developer to craft intuitive, high-performance UIs using Next.js and React across multiple applications. You will collaborate with product managers and backend developers, translate design mockups into engaging web apps, and contribute to legacy PHP/Backbone.js projects.

We require 6+ years of experience, strong JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, HTML5/CSS3, and expertise in state management, testing, and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Extensive experience with React.js and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of component-based architecture and state management.
• Experience with build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite) and version control (Git).
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and writing tests (unit/integration).
• Ability to write clean, well-documented code and work in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Extensive experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.js and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of component-based architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, React Context API), and front-end routing.
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Vite.
• Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
• Demonstrable experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests for frontend components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) in Next.js.
