Francisco Partners in Pune is seeking an experienced individual for a payment processing role. This position involves posting electronic/manual payments, reconciling payment batches, and ensuring an accuracy rate of over 99%.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment processing and knowledge of regulations like HIPAA. The role offers various benefits, including medical and retirement savings options, and requires working on-site with designated shifts.
Work Location – Pune (Work from Office)
Shift timings – (7:30 PM – 4:30 AM) IST
Post ERA/EOB payments (electronic and manual) from commercial, government, and managed care payers, matching payments to corresponding claims accurately.
Apply contractual adjustments, co‑insurance, co‑pay, and deductible amounts per payer contract terms.
Post patient payments received via front desk collections, online portals, mail, lock‑box, and phone payments.
Process zero‑pay remittances, denial codes, and reason/remark codes, routing to appropriate AR follow‑up queues.
Reconcile daily payment batches against bank deposits and lock‑box reports, identifying and resolving variances same‑day.
Identify and flag credit balances and overpayments for refund processing. Handle payer recoupment notices, offset letters, and take‑back transactions.
Maintain posting turnaround within established SLA (typically ≤24 hours from receipt).
Ensure accuracy of payment posting at ≥99% accuracy rate with <1% dollar variance tolerance. Comply with HIPAA, CMS, and organizational financial policies in all posting activities.
