Job summary

ModMed in Hyderabad is seeking an RCM Coding Analyst to join our production coding team. You will code client services and analyze denials to support accurate claims. This role emphasizes trend analysis, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and building a knowledge hub to improve workflows.

You’ll grow through hands‑on coding and denial analytics while contributing to customer delight. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Human Science with anatomy, 2+ years coding, and CPC/COC/CCS‑P/CCS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Science with a strong background in Anatomy.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on, multi-specialty coding experience.
• Active certification in CPC, COC, CCS-P or CCS is required.

Responsibilities

• Production Coding Excellence: accurately process and code client services with high quality and compliance.
• Denial Resolution: review and resolve coding denials for accurate claim outcomes.
• Trend Analysis & Workflow Prevention: analyze denials to identify root causes and fix workflows.
• Team Knowledge Hub: share coding clarifications and guidance with the MMI team.

  Are you looking to bridge the gap between production coding and analytical problem-solving? As an RCM Coding Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping healthcare practices running smoothly. You will get hands‑on experience as a production coder while stepping up to analyze coding denials, discover trends, and serve as a go‑to resource for internal team queries.

  How You'll Make an Impact

  • Production Coding Excellence (30%): Accurately process and code client services, maintaining high standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

  • Denial Resolution (30%): Review, evaluate, and resolve coding denials to ensure accurate claim resolution for our client practices.

  • Trend Analysis & Workflow Prevention (30%): Analyze coding denials and patterns to pinpoint workflow improvements, root‑cause issues, and preventive solutions.

  • Team Knowledge Hub (10%): Serve as a helpful, subject‑matter resource for the MMI team regarding coding clarifications, questions, and guidance.

  What You Bring (Qualifications)

  Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Science with a strong background in Anatomy.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on, multi‑specialty coding experience.

  • Certifications: Active certification in at least one of the following:

    • Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

    • Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)

    • Certified Coding Specialist - Physician (CCS‑P)

    • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail with the curiosity to dig into denial trends and solve underlying root causes.

  • Communication: Clear, empathetic, and collaborative written and verbal communication across teams and geography.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in B.Sc, M.Sc, or B.Pharma.
