EY is seeking a Staff level professional for EY_ Consulting _ SOX in Chennai to support client engagements within the Internal Audit and SOX 404 domains. The role emphasizes delivering testing of operating effectiveness of controls, process walkthroughs, and developing risk control documentation while collaborating with onshore and global teams.

You will engage in multi-disciplinary teams, leverage analytics and AI tools for internal control improvements, and travel as needed to client sites,

Competenze

• 2-3 years of work experience in Big 4 or professional firm or risk controls
• CA, bachelor's in commerce OR MBA
• Understanding of SOX and COSO framework
• Strong academic history
• Exceptional command on spoken and written English
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills

Mansioni

• Participate in process discussions and walkthrough meetings with the Seniors, and prepare process flows / narratives and risk control matrices
• Provide regular status update to the Seniors on the controls tested
• Document testing workpapers as per the defined standards and quality benchmark

• Demonstrate application and solution-based approach to problem solving while executing client engagements and documenting working papers

As part of our Consulting Enterprise Risk team, our clients look for EY's expertise across the consulting solutions and specifically for engagements related to Internal Audit, Process compliance and reviews, SOX 404, Payment application, Developing Standard Operating Procedure manuals, Third Party Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management.

The opportunity

This is client-facing role in a rapidly growing practice, where you'll build client relationships with key stakeholders, including management executives for some of the most globally recognized brands. It makes this the perfect place to gain a deeper understanding of complex businesses transactions, all the while recommending solutions to some of the most pressing business challenges and process inefficiencies. You'll also team with our performance improvement professionals in multidisciplinary engagements, helping major global clients transform and sustain business performance. The team is focused on leveraging emerging technologies like Robotics, AI, Advanced Analytics to enhance various Internal Audit and internal control solutions being provided to the client and actively work in building multiple tools and assets for efficient and effective client delivery. Your key responsibilities

• Delivery
  • Conduct test of operating effectiveness of SOX controls for multiple processes across client(s)
  • Participate in process discussions and walkthrough meetings with the Seniors, and prepare process flows / narratives and risk control matrices
  • Provide regular status update to the Seniors on the controls tested
  • Document testing workpapers as per the defined standards and quality benchmark
  • Meet quality guidelines within the established turnaround time (or allotted budget) for assigned requests
  • Demonstrate application and solution-based approach to problem solving while executing client engagements and documenting working papers

  • Develop strong working relationships with the client and onshore client teams
  • Maintain excellent rapport and proactive communication with the client

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong academic history (degree in Business, Accounting, or similar work experience in similar industry, Big 4 preferred)

• Ability to prioritize deliverables effectively in order to achieve optimum results.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 2-3 years of work experience of a Big 4 or professional firm or professional industry experience in risks controls
• CA, bachelor's in commerce OR MBA (Master's in business administration)
• Understanding of SOX and COSO framework
• Strong academic history (degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering or similar)
• Exceptional command on spoken and written English
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
