Job summary

Maersk in Chennai is seeking a Pricing Analyst to execute and maintain market rate pricing and surcharge filings with speed and accuracy.

You will partner with Ocean Product, Ocean Surcharge, and Functional Platform Owner teams to streamline processes, deliver pricing analytics, and support revenue management while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role offers growth, collaboration with global teams, and exposure to international logistics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Federal Maritime Commission, Safety, Security & Environment and other government filing regulations across all pricing activities.
• Maintain and optimize pricing and surcharge database size to ensure system performance and cost efficiency.
• Provide pricing and surcharge analytics to commercial teams for decision-making and revenue management.
• Collaborate with platform teams on process and system launches to enable automation and scalability.

Job Description

Execute and maintain market rate price setting and surcharge filing with speed and quality.

Partner with Ocean Product, Ocean Surcharge, and Functional Platform Owner teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Ensure compliance with Federal Maritime Commission, Safety, Security & Environment and other government filing regulations across all pricing activities.

Maintain and optimize pricing and surcharge database size to ensure system performance and cost efficiency.

Provide pricing and surcharge analytics to commercial teams for decision-making and revenue management.

Accountabilities

Accurate and timely execution of market rate pricing and surcharge filings in compliance with Federal Maritime Commission and other government regulations.

Optimization and simplification of pricing and surcharge processes in collaboration with Ocean Product and Functional Platform Owner teams.

Delivery of actionable pricing and surcharge insights to commercial and platform teams to support revenue growth.

Talent management and development of team members to build capability and engagement.
