Job summary

Hitachi Energy India Limited in Maneja, Gujarat is seeking an Engineer to execute Global Product Support (GPS) activities in high voltage switchgear. You will apply engineering fundamentals and lifecycle management expertise to maintain product data and drive improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor/Master in Mechanical Engineering with 4-6 years' experience, ProE knowledge, and strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

The candidate will assume an Engineer role in executing Global Product Support (GPS) related activities in the field of high voltage switchgear products. The candidate shall be able to demonstrate technical skills, with a strong engineering fundamentals & background on product life cycle management.

Candidate should maintain and update product data for products in active portfolio such as drawings, design bill of materials, technical instructions, variants, decision tables etc. All product data needs to be maintained in high voltage product lifecycle management system following change management process ensuring data quality.

Your Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining product master data & product design.

Your Background:

• Bachelor or master’s in engineering (Mechanical) with 4-6 Yrs of total experience, experience dedicated on product support will be advantageous.
• Solid technical background, with hands on experience in ProE
• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
• Knowledge of international standards and testing requirements will be added advantage.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
• Shall have strong sense of safety & integrity; ownership & responsibility; collaboration & trust.
