Position Overview

The Senior Analyst, Hyperion will join our Hyperion Team to optimize and collaborate with IT Team and stakeholders for maintaining and enhancing Essbase (OCI) and FCCS applications, driving performance and efficiency, and working closely with a diverse team to advance Financial Reporting capabilities for Business. Purpose & Scope:

• Work in a global IT team to manage Hyperion Essbase in OCI and FCCS applications to carry out Financial Reporting for Business
• Provide ongoing BAU (Business-As-Usual) support to ensure seamless system operations.
• Developing skills to contribute to Reporting, Forecasting and Budgeting initiatives.
• Oracle Hyperion capabilities include Reporting, Forecasting, Budgeting for Financial users. This system is used globally 24/7 by our financial users to do Reporting. It is a web-based application with upstream and downstream integration with various internal and external systems such as D365, SAP ECC, ADF, SAP BI.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Hyperion Operations & Maintenance:

• Manage daily operations and maintenance ensuring seamless business-as-usual (BAU) operations and optimal system performance.
• Provide expert-level application support and Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Hyperion financial systems, delivering sophisticated analytical support and insights that drive business planning excellence.
• Work schedule: This role requires working in general shift with being available to have a hand-shake calls with US team.
• Application Enhancements & Projects: Deliver system enhancements through continuous improvement initiatives, automation, upgrades, and process optimization. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system requirements, design, and support. Ensure compliant release management, adhering to IT standards and regulations. Employ an agile approach, facilitating collaborative discussions, incremental releases, and stakeholder engagement to achieve prioritized business objectives.
• Application Infrastructure Management: Expertise in below modules of Oracle Cloud EPM, including:
• Essbase
• Planning
• Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS)
• Narrative Reporting Continuous Improvement: Drive IT continuous improvement initiatives by delivering quality and expertise, positioning the team as a strategic CoE for Ralph Lauren. Change and Training: Analyze and support stakeholder change and training needs for the Hyperion Essbase and FCCS application users, contributing to the development of a knowledge base and targeted training to optimize support efficiency. Collaborate with IT and business to gather feedback, recommend improvements, and ensure seamless communication. Deliver training sessions on new features, troubleshoot user issues, and provide expert application guidance. Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including Global IT, Regional IT, Corporate Reporting Teams, FP&A Teams, to ensure alignment and effective issue resolution.

What You Bring (Qualifications): To excel in this role, you'll need: Hyperion Essbase (OCI) Reporting:

• 8+ years of deep experience with Oracle Hyperion
• Design, develop, and maintain Essbase applications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Administer and support Hyperion Essbase, ensuring that financial data is properly integrated, modeled, and reported.
• Maintain Essbase (OCI) cubes, data loads, and calculations and kind of automation for data integration, Actuals load.
• Optimize cube performance, including the development of calculation scripts, Essbase script tuning, and troubleshooting data load errors. Support financial reporting and analytics, including the development of custom Essbase reports and dashboards.
• Month-end activities close & open period and related tasks.
• Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Essbase scripting (Calc scripts, MaxL, Report scripts, PowerShell, Windows batch), Smart View, and administration.
• Strong skills in scripting that includes Python scripting, Java scripting, Groovy script is a must FCCS Administration:
• Administer and support the FCCS application, including configuration of consolidation, reporting, and data integration.
• Maintain and update FCCS settings such as hierarchies, metadata, and financial dimensions.
• Monitor FCCS application performance and troubleshoot issues related to consolidation, reporting, and data loads Functional Skills-
• Collaborate with global business partners to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and configure EPM solutions to meet business needs.
• Create functional and design documentation aligned with business requirements and Oracle best practices.
• Coordinate and manage change requests and enhance projects from initiation through completion.
• Drive business process improvements and automation using Oracle EPM capabilities.
• Partner with development teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions and validate deliverables.
