Criteria

Details

Educational Qualification Candidates must have passed 10th Class examination under 10+2 system or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Minimum Marks Candidates must have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in Class 10th.

Technical Qualification Candidates must have passed ITI Course in the relevant trade from a recognized institution.

Qualification Status Candidates must have already passed the required educational qualification on the date of notification release.

Not Eligible Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination or those whose results are awaited are not eligible to apply.

Details

1 Merit List Preparation The merit list will be prepared by taking the average percentage marks obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate marks) and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both qualifications as per Railway Establishment Rule 201/2017.

2 Document Verification Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification to verify educational qualifications, identity proof, category certificates, and other required documents.

3 Medical Examination Candidates who clear document verification must undergo a prescribed medical examination to confirm fitness for apprenticeship training.

4 Final Selection Final selection will be made based on merit, successful document verification, and medical fitness.
