Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualification: DMRD/DNB/MD Radiology.
• Experience: 5+ years in radiology.
• Counsel patients about processes, risks, benefits.
• Perform and interpret ultrasound, color Doppler and X-ray imaging.
• Ensure NABH standards, documentation and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to radiologic patients and explain procedures.
• Examine and diagnose disorders using x-rays and radioactive materials.
• Perform or interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including Ultrasound, Color Doppler, X-Ray.
• Prepare comprehensive interpretive reports of findings.
• Communicate medical information to patients or family members.
• Communicate test results to medical professionals.
• Ensure PNDT documentation & compliance at all times.
• Notify consultants immediately for critical results/finding.
• Ensure regular preventive maintenance of machines.
• Familiar with NABH standards, protocols and documentation.
• Manage patients and perform high-quality ultrasound and Color Doppler.
• Be well groomed, punctual and adhere to company policies.
• Comply with patient safety policy.
• Ensure safe utilization and maintenance of equipment and waste disposal.
• Participate in QA/QC activities.
• Perform all jobs as assigned due to exigencies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• 2. Examine and diagnose disorders and diseases using x-rays and radioactive materials
• 3. Perform or interpret the outcomes of diagnostic imaging procedures including Ultrasound, Color Doppler, X-Ray.
• 4. Prepare comprehensive interpretive reports of findings
• 5. Communicate detailed medical information to patients or family members.
• 6. Communicate test or assessment results to medical professionals.
• 7. To ensure PNDT related documentation & compliance all the time.
• 8. To intimate immediately to consultants for any critical results/finding.
• 9. To ensure regular preventive maintenance of machine.
• 10. Must be familiar with NABH standards, protocols and documentation process.
• 11. Responsible for managing all the patients and performing high quality ultrasound and Color DOPPLER.
• 12. To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices, familiar with NABH protocols.
