  • Lead the clinical validation efforts for AI models by evaluating algorithm performance, ensuring diagnostic accuracy, and comparing AI outputs against radiologist interpretation.
  • Provide expert annotations and guidance on chest imaging datasets to improve AI model training. Ensure the quality and consistency of labeled datasets used in AI development.
  • Work with AI developers to refine algorithms, providing clinical feedback on areas for improvement and offering suggestions to enhance diagnostic performance.
  • Assist in integrating AI solutions into radiology workflows, ensuring tools are user-friendly, efficient, and improve clinical outcomes.

The Medical Imaging Technology team of Siemens Healthcare Technology Center has an immediate opening in Princeton, NJ for an experienced Chest Radiologist to join our multidisciplinary team focused on advancing AI-based solutions in medical imaging. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise in thoracic imaging and play a pivotal role in the development, validation, and deployment of AI-driven diagnostic tools. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of clinical radiology and cutting-edge technology, contributing to the future of AI in healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and clinical teams to develop algorithms for automated detection, diagnosis, and quantification of thoracic diseases (e.g., lung cancer, pneumonia, interstitial lung disease) in medical imaging.
  • Lead the clinical validation efforts for AI models by evaluating algorithm performance, ensuring diagnostic accuracy, and comparing AI outputs against radiologist interpretation.
  • Provide expert annotations and guidance on chest imaging datasets to improve AI model training. Ensure the quality and consistency of labeled datasets used in AI development.
  • Work with AI developers to refine algorithms, providing clinical feedback on areas for improvement and offering suggestions to enhance diagnostic performance.

Qualifications
