Radiologist

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging findings with clear, concise, and clinically relevant interpretations.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to determine appropriate imaging protocols and optimize diagnostic accuracy.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to clinical decision-making processes.
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety.
• Stay current with advancements in radiological technology, techniques, and clinical guidelines.
• Contribute to departmental audits, training programs, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior radiology staff and trainees as needed.

Requirements

• MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DM in Radiology or equivalent).

• Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience in a hospital or clinical radiology setting.
• Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography studies.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
