Radio System Integrator (Wi‑Fi 6 / Wi‑Fi 7)
Role Summary
Own end‑to‑end system integration and performance closure for Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be) platforms. Lead bring‑up, feature enablement, debugging, and automation across PHY/MAC, firmware, RF, antenna, and validation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive system bring‑up and integration through product readiness (HW/SoC/firmware drops).
- Lead performance closure on throughput, latency, range/coverage, stability, and robustness.
- Integrate/validate Wi‑Fi 6/7 features (e.g., Wi‑Fi 7 MLO, high‑throughput scenarios; Wi‑Fi 6 OFDMA/MU‑MIMO behavior).
- Perform cross‑layer root‑cause debugging using logs/telemetry and targeted lab measurements.
- Build and maintain Python‑based automation for regression and performance sweeps; publish clear metrics and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics/Telecom/EE (M.E./M.Tech. is a plus).
- 5 to 10 years in Wi‑Fi system integration / validation / performance engineering (AP/router/CPE/chipset/platform).
Required Skills
- Proven hands‑on experience with Wi‑Fi 6 + Wi‑Fi 7 integration and performance debugging.
- Strong ability to correlate KPIs (throughput/latency/PER/retries/stability) to root causes across SW/HW.
- Basic RF awareness impacting Wi‑Fi (interference, desense, sensitivity/EVM trends) — no RF design required.
- Python scripting; C/C++ familiarity is a plus.
- Working in Agile flows; Jira/Confluence/Git preferred.
