Job Overview

The Rackspace Technology Internal Audit team is seeking a Senior IT Auditor with a passion for the latest cloud technologies to develop their career at the #1 multi-cloud company. The Senior IT Auditor will conduct global technology and integrated audits, including cloud environments, cybersecurity, data management, and SOX control testing. Collaborating with business owners across the company, the role requires effective communication of technical and business risks, and providing recommendations for improvements in areas such as Identity & Access Management, Encryption, Security Function Design and Governance, and Security Infrastructure. Demonstrating professional judgment and detailed data analysis skills will be essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit projects related to system security, controls, or information security, focusing on domains such as Security Architecture and Strategy, Identity & Access Management, Data Leakage Prevention, Encryption, Large Complex Program Execution, Security Function Design and Governance, Incident Management, and Security Infrastructure.
• Perform annual SOX control testing for management and external auditors.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute global technology and integrated audits.
• Analyze data considering various business factors to identify solutions.
• Coordinate with business owners to communicate audit findings and recommendations.
• Recommend improvements based on risk assessments and process evaluations.
• Develop reports to communicate audit findings to management and the Audit Committee.
• Oversee other auditors, review work papers, and mentor team members through coaching and feedback.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, accounting, or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls testing, information systems operations, documentation techniques, and business processes.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CIA, achieved or in progress.
