Job summary

AV Global Advisory Services in India is seeking an accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting processes and to support the senior accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.

The role includes vendor master management, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable operations (OTA billings, cash application & reconciliation), bank reconciliations, income journal verification, and general ledger/month-end close support.

Responsibilities

• Vendor master management: Creation of new vendors and ensuring non-duplication of vendors.
• Accounts payable - Invoice processing and review.
• Accounts receivables OTA billings, cash application & reconciliation.
• Bank reconciliations: Matching transactions between the bank & GL and resolving reconciling items.
• Income Journal: Verification of the correctness of PMS data with accounting data.
• General Ledger/Sales Tax/Balance Sheet reconciliations: Preparation of journal entries, preliminary workings, and month close support.
