Job summary

Qualifications

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead with 10+ years of software development experience to lead the technical design and development of our comprehensive Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platform. This role requires a strong full‑stack developer with expertise in enterprise application architecture, database design, and team leadership. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of full‑stack software development experience and is comfortable working across frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, business logic, SQL Server databases, automated testing, code reviews, and production issue resolution. Also, have 4+ years of experience in leading and guiding people with relevant directions.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent, with 10+ years of relevant software development experience and minimum 2+ years of leading team.
• Hands‑on experience with C#, .NET, PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, web services, third‑party integrations, and business logic for enterprise applications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including queries, joins, indexing, performance considerations, and data integrity.
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming, design principles, application architecture, and structured workflows.
• Mandatory experience with Git‑based version control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or PHPUnit.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, communication, and ownership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Experience with Azure services such as App Services, Key Vault, Virtual Machines, Load Balancer, Azure SQL, or Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of advanced T‑SQL, CDC, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, custom agents, or AI‑enabled engineering practices.
• Domain knowledge in Energy Trade and Risk Management is an advantage.
