The Job At AVEVA, we’re looking for an experienced R&D Principal Technologist to join the Predictive Analytics product team. This is a senior, hands‑on technical leadership role focused on designing and evolving enterprise software that works with large-scale industrial and time‑series datasets, delivers advanced analytics, and provides rich web‑based user experiences. The role requires strong full‑stack engineering expertise across C#/.NET and modern JavaScript/TypeScript technologies, including Angular, combined with experience building scalable, high‑performance applications that process and present large volumes of data. You will provide technical direction across the product lifecycle, lead complex feature development and architectural decisions, and collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and other R&D teams. You will operate at both the strategic and hands‑on engineering levels—shaping technical direction while remaining close to the code.
