EY is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer for its GDS Delivery Excellence team. You will lead design, development and deployment of cloud-native, data‑driven applications using Java and Scala, with emphasis on AI-assisted development practices and scalable microservices.

You will work in an international setting within the BFSI domain, mentoring developers and driving Agile delivery, DevOps pipelines, and best practices across teams.

Qualificações

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior – Java Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications, with a strong focus on AI-assisted development practices. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Java and Scala-based application development, full-stack technologies, modern architecture patterns, and hands‑on experience with event‑driven systems and cloud platforms. Experience building distributed data‑intensive applications using Scala is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of enterprise‑grade full stack applications.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor.ai, Replit, GitHub Copilot or equivalent) to enhance engineering productivity.
• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance distributed applications using Scala, Java, and modern data processing frameworks.
• Architect and build microservices‑based solutions using Java, Scala, and modern frameworks (Spring Boot/Akka or equivalent).
• Develop and integrate real‑time data processing pipelines using Kafka.
• Design scalable and resilient systems leveraging cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Work closely with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders in Banking/FSO/Capital Markets domain.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, performance, and DevOps pipelines.
• Mentor and manage a team of developers; foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Participate in client discussions, requirement gathering, and solution design.
• Drive Agile delivery practices across the team.

Primary Skills (Must Have)

• Strong experience in Java and Scala Development (Mandatory):
