Job summary

SYSTRA India is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor for the Mumbai Coastal Road Project. You will prepare cost estimates, monitor budgets, and certify payments to contractors, ensuring cost control across the project lifecycle.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Surveying, 12+ years of professional experience with 5+ years in billing cum contract engineering, and proficiency in MS Excel, CostX, AutoCAD, SAP, and CATO.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Measure and quantify materials, labor, and equipment requirements
• Prepare and review bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documents
• Evaluate and compare contractor and supplier quotations
• Manage and monitor project costs to keep within budget
• Assess and certify interim and final payments to contractors
• Value completed works and arrange payments

• Identify, evaluate, and resolve variations and changes in project scope
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning
• Advise on procurement strategies and contract types

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual obligations
• Support the settlement of claims and disputes
• Maintain comprehensive records of project costs, contracts, and correspondence

Missions/Main Duties
