Technology is essential to our success. As a Quant Engineer in the Research (Portfolio Implementation) team, you will tackle mission-critical challenges that bring our investment ideas to life. Collaborating with researchers and portfolio analysts, you will design and implement proprietary systems and tools supporting our quantitative strategies and systematic investing.
As a Senior Quant Engineer in QRD, your responsibilities include building or extending:
- Portfolio Implementation systems based on research output, including optimization with constraints and order generation
- Microservices utilizing cloud computing for scalable operations
- High-performance historical simulation/back-testing engines for testing various portfolio constraints
- Customized technology solutions tailored to specific asset classes and research needs
- Collaborating with local and global research engineering teams for successful product delivery
- BE/BTech in Computer Science, Computational Finance, Data Science, or related fields
- 7+ years of programming experience with expertise in Python, Java, or C++
- Experience as a Java programmer with Python knowledge is highly desirable
- Ability to design elegant solutions and translate designs into high-quality code
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Interest in quantitative finance (no trading experience required)
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Contributions to open-source software are a plus
- Aptitude for mathematics, finance, and econometrics is desired
