Job summary

Jayachandran Industries is seeking a Quality Inspector to monitor QC checkpoints and conduct regular line inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards. The role involves identifying non-conformities, reviewing SPC data, and coordinating with production to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate should have basic QMS knowledge and strong documentation skills. Minimum two years' experience in quality inspection or quality control is preferred, with BE (EEE/ECE) or Diploma in related fields.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 is preferred.
• Good observation, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor QC checkpoints per QC check sheet.
• Conduct regular line inspections to ensure quality standards.

• Identifying and controlling the non-conformance at every stage.
• Review and troubleshoot SPC (Statistical Process Control) data and take necessary corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
• Provide inputs and suggestions for continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Inspection / Quality Control.
• Qualification: BE (EEE, ECE) or Diploma (EEE, ECE) with relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS); knowledge of ISO 9001 is preferred.
• Good observation, documentation, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Basic knowledge of 7 QC Tools and SPC will be an added advantage.
