Job summary

ABB Traction Division, based in Vadodara, India, seeks a Quality professional to ensure adherence to quality standards in the local unit and to collaborate with suppliers to drive world-class performance. The role focuses on prevention, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions within the quality function reporting to the Quality Manager.

You will work onsite in Vadodara, applying quality data analytics to identify risks and monitor supplier performance,

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in quality/supplier quality, customer quality.
• Knowledge of drawings, test standards, calibration and measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to quality standards for the local organizational unit.
• Assist in identifying risks and opportunities related to quality management in the local organization and at suppliers.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) as per quality plan and approve supplier quality documents.
• Collaborate to bridge requirements between local functions and suppliers to achieve targets.
