The-Search-House in Mumbai region seeks a Quality Manager to oversee quality systems for industrial cleaning chemicals. You will ensure ISO 9001 compliance, manage raw material and finished product quality, and drive CAPA and audits across manufacturing processes.

You will lead lab testing, product validation, and documentation such as COA, MSDS, and batch records, while coordinating with R&D for product improvements and ensuring EHS standards are met.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in chemistry/engineering or industrial chemistry.
• Experience with ISO standards, GMP, and safety regulations.
• 5–10 years in quality management in chemical/manufacturing.
• ISO Auditor / Six Sigma certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS for chemical manufacturing.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Monitor raw materials, batch processing, and finished goods quality.
• Approve formulations for detergents, degreasers, and cleaners.
• Perform in-process checks and final inspections before dispatch.
• Handle customer complaints and CAPA activities.
• Coordinate withPurchase for supplier quality evaluation.
• Ensure lab testing, stability testing, and product validation.
• Maintain COA, MSDS, batch records, and QC reports.
• Lead audits and ensure audit readiness; manage EHS standards.
• Train production and QC teams; support R&D for improvements.

Quality Manager - Industrial cleaning chemicals

The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring consistent product quality of kitchen cleaning and industrial cleaning chemicals by implementing robust quality systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) for chemical manufacturing
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 , safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to chemical handling and production
• Monitor and control raw material quality, batch processing, and finished goods as per defined specifications
• Approve formulations and ensure consistency in detergents, degreasers, disinfectants, and other cleaning chemicals
• Conduct in-process quality checks and final inspections before dispatch
• Handle customer complaints , product returns, and implement CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions)
• Coordinate with Purchase team for vendor quality evaluation and approval of raw materials
• Ensure proper lab testing, stability testing, and product validation
• Maintain documentation such as COA (Certificate of Analysis), MSDS, batch records, and QC reports
• Lead internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards
• Train production and QC teams on quality procedures and safety practices
• Work closely with R&D for product improvement and new product development
• All audits points related to quality should be done ns needs to fulfil and reports to be generated
• Process &execuion with all depth& related SOP’s to be implemented.
• All QC’s will be controlled by QC Manager.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of chemical formulations and cleaning product standards
• Understanding of ISO standards, GMP, and safety regulations
• Hands-on experience with lab testing equipment and QC tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Leadership and team management capability
• Attention to detail and process-driven approach

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Industrial Chemistry
• Certification in ISO Auditor / Six Sigma (preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in quality management within chemical / cleaning products / FMCG manufacturing
