Position: Quality Manager
Industry: Garment Manufacturing / Textile and Apparels
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Quality Assurance: Manage all aspects of quality assurance in garment production, ensuring consistent product quality from raw material sourcing to final product shipment.
- Develop and Implement QC Procedures: Create, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures for each stage of production (pre-production, in-line, and final inspection).
- Monitor Production Quality: Conduct regular inspections and tests of garments during various production stages (cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing).
- Supplier Management: Assess and monitor suppliers for material quality, ensuring that raw materials meet company standards.
- Train and Supervise QC Staff: Lead, train, and develop the quality control team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and Resolve Issues: Analyze production issues related to quality, implement corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all processes comply with international quality standards and export requirements (e.g., ISO, ASTM, etc.), and maintain detailed inspection and quality reports.
- Customer Communication: Address any customer complaints or concerns regarding product quality and implement necessary improvements.
- Trend Analysis and Improvement: Use quality data and metrics to identify trends, analyze root causes, and recommend improvements to enhance production quality.
- Final Inspection: Conduct final product checks before shipping, ensuring that garments meet required specifications and packaging standards.
- Should have quality formats & knowledge to implement it from cut to ship.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in quality management within the garment manufacturing industry, preferably experience in export house.
- Quality Standards Knowledge: Strong knowledge of garment production processes, testing methods, and international quality standards (e.g., color fastness, shrinkage, and stitching strength).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a quality control team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to resolve quality-related issues efficiently.
- Software Proficiency: Familiar with ERP systems and quality control software, as well as MS Office.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process.
- Customer-Oriented: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and resolve quality issues quickly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 80,000.00 - 120,000.00 per month
