Job summary

Keka Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Lead (Electrical) to develop and maintain the Project Quality Management System across solar, wind, and hybrid projects.

You will lead audits, coordinate with clients and vendors, and drive corrective actions to ensure compliance with IEC and IS standards. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical installations and QA processes, with extensive site experience and proficiency in MS Office tools for reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications and Work Experience: B. Tech./B. E (Electrical).
• 12 to 15 Years in Solar, Wind, Hybrid Projects
• Good understating about installation of various equipment i.e., Solar Electrical Equipment of Solar and Wind Project I.e., WTG, USS, PSS, ICR/MCR, PV Modules, transformers, HV & LV Panels, HV & LV Cables, Earthing Work,
• Cable Trays.
• Strong Knowledge & Implementation of Quality Practices at sites.
• Should be proficient in Automatic digitalize QA process and familiar with different software skills i.e., MS Office, Outlook, MS Teams, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review project quality related document i.e., PQP, FQP, QAP, SOP, ITP etc.
• Auditing sites to ensure quality of installations and monitoring the status of NCs/Observation
• Coordinate with Client/Contractor/Vendors for project quality related activities.
• Identify quality problems, initiate corrective actions, and verify implementation of solution for effectiveness.
• Conduct/participate in root cause analysis activities Preparation of reports/presentations for project management review.

Job description

• Develop and maintain Project Quality Management System to ensure compliance with Quality Standards, guidelines, and procedures in each assigned task.
• Develop and review project quality related document i.e., PQP, FQP, QAP, SOP, ITP etc.
• Post Dispatch inspection of various equipment i.e., Transformer, Panels (HT/LT), Invertor, Cable (AC/DC), Terminal connection, WTG, ICR/ MCC building equipment, Earthing Material.
• Should have adequate command over all Electrical works such as Transformer, Panels (HT/LT), Invertor, Cable (AC/DC), Terminal connection, Pre-com WTG, pilling, PV panel, conductor, 33//66/220kV etc.
• Lead Quality Initiatives and activities of project by coordinating with other stakeholders.
• Good Knowledge of Project Quality Management, ISO 9001, IS 2500, IS 2026, IEC, IS 456, IS 516, IS 3043, IS7098, IS 62271 and other applicable Electrical standards.
• Coordinate with Client/Contractor/Vendors for project quality related activities.

• Should have sound knowledge of different lab testing (NABL Electrical, Mechanical)
