Job summary

Cummins Inc. on-site quality position seeks assistance in final product verification on the production line. You will compare components against specifications and document any deviations using company systems, ensuring adherence to defined quality norms.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of standard measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, dial gauge, torque wrench).
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Assists with verification of the final quality of products on the production line. Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects. Separates products that do not have the desired technical specification, using basic measurement techniques and equipment. Documents products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems. Follows the norms and standards of quality defined by the company.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Minimal or no work experience required.
