Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands‑on software quality assurance or software testing experience with a BE/BS in CS or related field.
• Ability to write clear, concise test cases and test plans.
• Familiarity with STLC and bug life cycle concepts.

Job Description Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist with 1 to 2 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will test our software products [or products/services] to find bugs and ensure high quality before they reach our users. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to write test cases, run tests, and report issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Execution: Run manual and basic automated tests to find software defects and verify fixes. Experience with AI application testing, including running evals, analyzing traces, and monitoring
• Test Planning: Review product requirements and write clear, concise test cases and test plans.
• Bug Tracking: Log, track, and retest bugs using tools like Jira/ADO
• Collaboration: Work with software developers to troubleshoot issues and understand system features.
• Quality Reporting: Share daily or weekly testing progress and quality updates with the team.
• Process Improvement: Suggest ways to make the testing process faster and more accurate.
• Performance testing for both cloud and on-prem deployments
• Infrastructure and application deployment testing for Docker and Kubernetes

• Technical Skills:
  • Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and bug life cycle.
  • Experience with manual testing concepts (functional, regression, and UI/UX testing).
  • Basic knowledge of automation tools or scripting (e.g., Playright, Python, or JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and MCP inspector is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time and work well in a team.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance or software testing with Bachelor in Engineering preferably computer science specialization
