Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years in Quality Engineering, QA, or UAT
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience
  • Experience managing testing for large-scale enterprise applications
  • Experience with defect management and test management tools
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and release processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Delivery Leadership & Governance: lead testing governance and release readiness
  • Lead Scrum planning, execution, defect management, and release validation activities
  • Define and implement standards, templates, and best practices
  • Establish quality gates and readiness checkpoints for production releases
  • Drive risk assessment and mitigation for critical initiatives
  • Provide quality status reporting and executive-level communication
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Program teams to ensure testability of requirements
  • Facilitate requirement reviews and acceptance criteria assessments
  • Lead UAT and release readiness discussions as primary contact
  • Align testing strategies with business priorities and goals
  • Perform functional, end-to-end, regression, and integration testing
  • Ensure full test coverage and traceability
  • Oversee defect triage and resolution
  • Drive adoption of test automation and AI-assisted testing
  • Promote shift-left testing and quality engineering principles
  • Evaluate tools to enhance testing effectiveness
  • Lead and develop a team of QA analysts and engineers
  • Conduct performance management and career development
  • Manage resource planning and workload balancing
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Establish and monitor KPIs: defect leakage, UAT progress, test coverage, release readiness
  • Lead root cause analysis and process improvements
  • Support operational excellence and modernization efforts

Primary Responsibilities


  • Delivery Leadership & Governance

  • Functional testing

  • End-to-end validation

  • Regression testing

  • Integration testing

  • Business process validation

  • Ensure full test coverage and traceability from requirements to test results

  • Oversee defect triage and resolution activities

  • Quality Engineering & Automation

  • Drive adoption of test automation and AI-assisted testing practices

  • Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, quality, and delivery speed

  • Promote shift-left testing practices and quality engineering principles

  • Evaluate and implement tools and capabilities that enhance testing effectiveness

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of UAT analysts and quality engineers

  • Conduct performance management, coaching, and career development activities

  • Manage resource planning, workload balancing, and capability development

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation

  • Establish and monitor KPIs including:

  • Defect leakage

  • UAT execution progress

  • Test coverage

  • Release readiness metrics

  • Drive root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives


Support operational excellence and modernization efforts



  • Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA, or UAT

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience

  • Experience managing testing activities for large-scale enterprise applications

  • Experience with defect management and test management tools

  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and release management processes

  • Proven solid stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
