Job summary

Matrix Robotics in Chakan, Pune is seeking a motivated Quality Engineer – Fresher to inspect components, read engineering drawings, and support production to ensure defect-free products. The role involves using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and other instruments on the shop floor.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, be eager to learn, and willing to work on the shop floor, with duties spanning inspection, documentation, and collaboration with multiple teams to uphold

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer – Fresher to join our manufacturing team in Chakan, Pune. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting components, using quality measuring instruments, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the production and quality teams in ensuring defect-free products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components as per drawings and quality standards.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
• Perform dimensional inspection using various precision measuring instruments.
• Check components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, Air Pressure Gauge, Tyre Gauge, Novogauge, and other quality inspection instruments.
• Understand and apply tolerance, limits, fits, and dimensional requirements.
• Identify dimensional and visual defects in manufactured components.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality inspection reports.
• Support production teams in identifying and controlling quality issues.
• Ensure measuring instruments are used correctly and handled properly.
• Assist in rejection analysis, defect identification, and corrective actions.
• Follow company quality procedures, inspection standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of inspections.
