Job summary

Infosys Bengaluru is seeking a Testing Specialist to design and automate test scripts for Finacle Core modules, ensure quality across regression suites, and support stakeholders with high service levels.

You will gather requirements, translate them into test cases, develop automation scripts (TOSCA/Selenium), and participate in SDLC/STLC with Agile practices. Basic SQL/Unix knowledge is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in test design and automation scripting.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Banking domain testing knowledge preferred, Finacle core.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and translate them into test designs and automation scripts.
• Contribute to test execution and build efficient test plans.
• Provide accurate execution status and insights to leads and PMs.

Job DescriptionAs part of the delivery team, primary role would be to ensure effective Test Design, automation scripts Development, Validation and Support activities to assure that our stakeholders are satisfied with the high levels of service in the technology domain.

Roles Responsibilities

• Gather the requirements and specifications to understand Test requirements in a detailed manner and translate the same effective Tests Design, automation script development. Play a key role in the overall Test execution lifecycle of work requirements provide the right information on Test executions to Leads and Project Managers. Be a key contributor in building efficient Test plans/Automation scripts.
• Knowledge of quality processes and estimation techniques
• Basic understanding of project domain
• Ability to translate functional / nonfunctional requirements to systems/Test requirements
• Ability to write test cases and scenarios based on the specifications
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile methodologies
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate.

Technical Requirement

Primary skills: System, Functional, Regression, Testing. Finacle Core, Automation Test tool working knowledge preferably TOSCA/Selinium. Basic working knowledge on SQL, Unix.
