Job summary

Rico in Chandigarh (Zirakpur) seeks a Quality Engineer to conduct lab testing per ISI standards for home and kitchen appliances, ensuring BIS compliance and maintaining testing records.

You will manage BIS/ISI testing, document in-process rejections, perform root cause analysis with CAPA, and prepare monthly lab performance reports for the HOD. BE/BTech Electronics with 2-5 years of relevant experience required. Excel skills essential.

Qualifications

• BE/B-Tech in Electronics required.
• 2-5 years in Home & Kitchen Appliances Industry.
• Knowledge of BIS standards and testing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product testing in the lab per ISI standards to ensure quality compliance.

JD for the profile of Quality Engineer

• Conduct product testing in the lab as per ISI standards, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Manage BIS / ISI testing, and record maintenance for all products.
• Capture in-process rejections and root cause analysis through quality tools and CAPA implementation.
• Must be Systematic & Maintain proper reports in excel. Prepare and present monthly lab performance reports to the HOD.
• Must have experience of Home or Kitchen Appliances.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Educational Qualifications BE / B-Tech Electronics.
• Experience – 2-5 years in Home & Kitchen Appliances Industry.
• Strong knowledge of BIS standards, testing protocols, and processes
• Computer skills – Basic Excel Skills.
• Must be eager to learn and grow.
