Job summary

Omni Recruit Private Limited is seeking an Electrical Inspection Engineer in Gujarat, India to perform inspections on DG sets, motors, transformers, and related electrical assemblies. The role requires reading schematics and validating inspection documents to ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures.

The candidate should have basic knowledge of electrical components and familiarity with IS standards, QAP and SOP, and relevant documentation.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic components.
• Understanding of QAP and SOP procedures.
• Ability to read electrical schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect DG sets and rotating equipment for compliance.
• Review and validate inspection documents and reports.
• Ensure conformance to IS standards and internal QA/QC processes.

Job description

Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic components

Understanding of QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) and SOP (Standard Operating

Procedures)

Knowledge of verifying:

• COC (Certificate of Conformity)
• TC (Test Certificates)
• Type Test Reports

Experience in:

• Inspection of DG sets or rotating equipment
• Manufacturing and testing of engines and alternators

Familiarity with:

• IS 10002 DG Set Specifications
• IS 4722 Rotating Electrical Machines
• IS 13018 Engine Performance

Understanding of:

• QCP (Quality Control Plan) requirements
• Routine test, Type test, and Acceptance Tests (ATP / FAT)

Inspection knowledge of major assemblies:

• Control panel and wiring

Strong expertise in:

• DG set inspection procedures and requirements
• Review and validation of inspection documents

Ability to:

• Read and interpret electrical schematic drawings

Working knowledge of testing and inspection of:

• Motors
• Transformers
• UPS systems
• Electrical control panels
• Switchboards and starters
