Job summary

Aeron Systems Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Quality Engineer to witness Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and related tests at external laboratories.

You will ensure tests are performed per approved procedures and applicable standards such as MIL-STD, IPC, and JSSS, reviewing setups and documenting results for formal approval. You will coordinate with external test houses, maintain audit-ready documentation, and support ISO 9001:2015 / AS9100D compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ESS/COTS procedures and test standards (e.g., JSSS, MIL-STD family, IPC) and ability to verify test setups against those requirements.
• Proven experience in vendor coordination and serving as a point of contact for external test houses.
• Strong documentation skills: prepare/verify test instructions, witness reports, non-conformance records, and test result approval.
• Familiarity with audit requirements (ISO 9001 / AS9100) and maintaining audit-ready traceability.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and escalation skills.
• Ability to travel to external labs and accommodate on-site witnessing schedules.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to serve as the Quality representative for witnessing Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and related tests at external laboratories. The role involves ensuring that all tests — including COTS, PCB Assembly, and Conformal Coating which are executed as per approved procedures and applicable standards. The Engineer will be responsible for verifying test setups, ensuring standardized documentation, reviewing results, and facilitating formal approval of test outcomes. This position demands strong coordination with external test houses, attention to detail in documentation, and adherence to quality and compliance requirements under ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Quality representative to witness Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and other tests such as COTS, PCB Assembly, and Conformal Coating at external laboratories.
• Ensure all tests are executed by approved procedures and applicable Standards.
• Review and verify test setups and methodologies against relevant specifications and standards (e.g., JSSS, MIL-STD family, IPC, or company-specific requirements).
• Coordinate with external laboratories and vendors to plan and schedule testing activities.
• Prepare, review, and maintain standardized documentation including test instructions, witness reports, non-conformance reports, and final test approvals.
• Ensure test data integrity and traceability in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 / AS9100D requirements.
• Support internal and external audits through documentation readiness and compliance demonstration.
• Collaborate with design, production, and QA teams to ensure effective feedback and closure of quality concerns observed during testing.
• Maintain close communication with stakeholders and elevate issues as needed to ensure timely resolutions.
• Travel to external test labs as required for on-site witnessing and verification of testing activities.
