TL/SS Electrical Quality Engineer Job Description

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of the Transmission and Substation Processes activity viz.
• Responsible for Quality Assurance and Control activities at site
• Training all site staff about the Quality requirements as per FQP, BIS code & applicable standard
• Review the quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain a quality of materials.
• Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality inspection on processes.
• Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems
• Identify and develop Master List of Testing and Measuring Equipment calibration
• Ensure QA/ QC tests on materials and workmanship as per FQP
• Coordinate with client for Quality related matters (Testing and inspection)
• Responsible for effective implementation of QMS at site level
• To maintain all the FQP documents and take sign off from client
• Real time Site update
• Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Report to the QA/QC Manager, control, and monitor all activities related to Quality

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent discipline
• Minimum 3-year experience in Relevant industry and overall 5-7 years work experience
• Root cause analysis & site documentation controller experience preferred
