Job summary

Pentair plc in Goa, India is seeking a Quality Assurance professional with 4–6 years of QA experience in manufacturing to uphold product quality across processes and shipments.

You will monitor in-process and final quality, drive improvements in incoming, in-process and outgoing quality, analyze defect trends, perform root-cause analysis, and apply 8-D problem solving to resolve customer complaints.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical required with 4-6 years of QA experience.
• Experience in quality systems and process control.
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor in-process and final quality across production.
• Drive improvements for incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality.
• Analyze data and defect trends to identify root causes.
• Apply SQC methods to resolve quality issues.
• Support manufacturing with timely product inspections.
• Investigate customer complaints using 8-D approach.
• Audit in-process and final shipments.
• Establish and maintain quality management systems.
• Coordinate with third parties for shopfloor inspections.
• Identify potential quality problems and implement corrective actions.

Job responsibilities

• Monitoring in process and final Quality.
• Improving Quality of incoming, incoming in process and outgoing products.
• Data and defect trend analysis.
• Root cause analysis, minimizing the fixed and variable causes of defects.
• Solving product Quality problems by SQC methods.
• Providing support to manufacturing for timely inspection of products.
• Analysing and eliminating customer complaints by using 8-D approach.
• Inprocess and final shipment audits.
• Establishing right quality management systems for effective product quality.
• Resolving customer complaints.
• Coordinating with ASME AI for inspection on the shoploor and addessing AI quality concerns.
• Quality improvement and cost saving initiatives.
• Coordinating the third party inspection visits on the shopfloor.
• Participate in the team efforts to identify the root causes and its implementation for product rework, rejections or customer complaints.
• Monitor the Quaity Management Systems on the production shopfloor.
• Identify the potential quality problems and take corrective actions proactively.

Qualification

• BE Mechanical.
• Experience: Minimum 4-6 Yrs. in Quality Assurance.

The position involves working in 3 shifts.
