Project Role: Quality Engineer

Project Role Description: Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that span the entire application lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing objectives with project goals.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to support testing activities and knowledge sharing.
• Assist in mentoring junior team members to build their skills and understanding of quality engineering practices.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
• Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including regression, functional, and API testing.
• Ability to configure and manage test environments and data to support diverse testing scenarios.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and reporting tools to facilitate clear communication and resolution.
• Capability to participate in code reviews and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Additional Information:

• This position is based at our Chennai office.
