Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for an onsite role in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. You will ensure quality across production processes, maintain calibration, and conduct inspections from raw materials to final assemblies, while resolving vendor issues and supporting CAPA initiatives.

The role requires a BE or Diploma in Mechanical/Automotive/Electrical/Electronics and willingness to travel within India up to 20-30%.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Engineering Drawings and Layout Inspection of Parts.
• Hands-on experience with ISO Documentation and updating of reports.
• In-depth understanding of calibration of instruments in factory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process inspections and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Receive inspection of raw materials and components.
• Perform final inspection of assemblies and verify packing standards.
• Handle supplier issues and implement CAPA for quality problems.
• Support customer complaints with CAPA and participate in MSA/CPK studies.
• Assist with new product development and PPAP approvals.

We build making the right quality into the production processes and control, and Production manufactures the right quality. It is the Quality Inspector responsibility to develop the system that makes it possible for Production to manufacture the right quality.
