Rockwell Automation, Inc. is seeking a quality assurance professional in Chennai to support in-process and final inspections, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and ISO documentation.

The role involves coordinating CAPA with production and supplier quality activities to maintain product quality across the manufacturing line. You will review vendor qualifications, support new product development with PPAP approvals, and travel within India as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical / Electronics.
• Willingness to travel 20-30% within India.
• Experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication and Quality Assurance.

Responsabilités

• Perform inspections of parts, assemblies and materials per SOPs.
• Maintain ISO documentation and update reports.
• Conduct patrol in-process and final inspections with revision drawings.
• Coordinate with production to resolve quality issues and provide CAPA.
• Lead supplier quality activities and vendor evaluations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Knowledge in Engineering Drawings and Layout Inspection of Parts
• Hands-on experience handling ISO Documentation and updating of Reports
• Maintain Instruments Calibration across the factory
• Conduct Patrol In Process Inspection and ensure you follow Standard Operating Procedure, using only current revision drawings.
• Receiving Inspection of Raw Material Sheets, Coil, Sheet Metal Parts, Plastic Parts
• Conduct Final Inspection of Assembly Panel, Verification of Kitting Parts, Ensuring Packing standard in followed
• Handling Supplier and resolving Vendor related materials quality issues raised In process
• Handling Customer Complaints and providing CAPA to Customer
• Handling In process issues jointly with Production team and providing CAPA
• Conduct MSA, CPK Study
• New Vendor Qualification, Existing Vendor evaluation
• New Product Development and PPAP Approval of Parts from Vendor
• Assist Manager in daily operations and meet the Production and Delivery plan.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical / Electronics
• The ability to travel 20-30% of the time (within India)

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Overall 3+ years of experience with 3 years' experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication process
• Experience in New Product Development and ISO Documentation
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and Six Sigma Certification will add an advantage.
