Job summary

Finorchem Limited in Ankleshwar seeks a QC analyst to perform sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods in line with GLP and safety norms.

You will operate GC, HPLC, KF titrator, and melting point apparatus, calibrate balances and pH meters daily, and ensure accurate reporting of test results.

Candidates should have a B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry with 2–5 years of QC lab experience in chemical/pharma manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Sc or M.Sc in chemistry.
• 2–5 years of QC lab experience in chemical/pharma/manufacturing sectors.
• Experience with GC/HPLC and wet chemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sampling & Testing: Collect samples and perform physical and chemical analyses, reporting results accurately.
• Instrument Operation & Handling: Use GC, HPLC, KF titrator, and melting point apparatus; apply wet and instrumental techniques.

Location: Ankleshwar

Job Objective

To perform sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods in compliance with predefined procedures, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and safety norms.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Sampling & Testing: Conduct sampling of raw materials and finished goods as per standard operating procedures. Perform physical and chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, and report test results accurately.
• Instrument Operation & Handling: Handle advanced QC laboratory instruments such as Gas Chromatography (GC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Karl Fischer (KF) titrator, and melting point apparatus. Utilize both instrumental and classical wet analysis techniques.
• Calibration & Maintenance: Perform daily calibration of laboratory equipment, including balances, pH meters, and KF auto titrators.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and plant safety norms during all testing and handling procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.Sc or M.Sc in any Chemistry specialization.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a Quality Control (QC) laboratory environment (preferably within chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing sectors).
