Job summary

VASUDHA PHARMA CHEM in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Wet Chemistry Analyst to perform routine analysis of RM, IP, intermediates, and finished products, including titration, assay, and related evaluations. The role emphasizes GMP/GDP compliance, documentation integrity, and timely testing to support production.

The successful candidate will maintain calibration of instruments, participate in method validation, and assist with audits and regulatory inspections while adhering to safety SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience in wet chemistry analysis and routine testing.
• Ability to perform titration, assay, and related analytical evaluations.
• Familiarity with GMP, GDP and good documentation practices (GDP).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analysis of RM, IP, intermediates, and FP as per specifications.
• Conduct wet chemistry tests including assay, titration, pH, loss on drying, residue on ignition.
• Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions and laboratory standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of analytical data and lab records in GMP/GDP compliance.
• Review records and report OOS/OOT results to supervisor.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments; ensure calibration status.
• Participate in method validation, verification, and troubleshooting.
• Adhere to SOPs and regulatory requirements; support audits and inspections.
• Ensure timely completion of testing to support production and release schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine analysis of Raw Materials (RM), In-Process (IP), Intermediates, and Finished Products (FP) as per approved specifications and test methods.
• Conduct wet chemistry tests including assay, titration, identification, loss on drying, residue on ignition, pH, and related analytical evaluations.
• Prepare, standardize, and maintain volumetric solutions, reagents, and laboratory standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of analytical data, test results, and laboratory records in compliance with GMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Review analytical records and report out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results to the supervisor.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure calibration status before use.
• Participate in method validation, method verification, and analytical troubleshooting activities.
• Adhere to laboratory safety guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure timely completion of testing activities to support production and release schedules.
