Job summary

Zydus Lifesciences is seeking a QC Analyst for its Moraiya formulation manufacturing site in Ahmedabad. The role requires 3–5 years of experience in quality control, with at least 2 years in the same role within a Zydus formulation site in India.

You will perform sampling, run analyses on multiple instruments, manage SAP/LIMS entries, and ensure GLP-compliant documentation and inventory control. The position demands hands-on laboratory work and strict adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a formulation manufacturing QC role.
• Minimum 2 years in the same role at any Zydus formulation site in India.
• Familiarity with cGLP and documentation standards.
• Hands-on testing and analysis using HPLC/GC/UV-Vis equipment.
• Experience in SAP and LIMS entry and data management.

Responsibilities

• To perform sampling of raw materials and re-test materials.
• To analyze raw materials, packaging, in-process, intermediates, bulk and finished products, process validation, stability and cleaning validation samples.
• Operate HPLC/GC/UV-Vis spectrophotometer and dissolution apparatus.
• Make entries in SAP and LIMS as required.
• Maintain equipment/instrument in calibrated and qualified condition.
• Handle, store, and dispose testing samples per SOPs.
• Ensure primary/working standards are stored as per conditions and documented.
• Manage laboratory inventory.
• Initiate and investigate OOS/OOT/OOC/Deviation/CAPA/Change control with department head.
• Prepare specifications, SOPs, and other QC documents.
• Maintain neat, systematic work area and comply with cGLP.
• Identify and report quality issues and safety concerns as per SOP.

Job Responsibilities:

• To perform the sampling of raw material andre-test material.
• To perform Analysis of raw material/packagingmaterial/in-process samples/intermediate/bulk & finished products/ processvalidation samples/ stability samples/ cleaning validation/method transfersample etc.
• Preferred to have a Hands-on experience to perform analysis on HPLC/GC/UV-Visible Spectrophotometer /DissolutionApparatus etc.
• To make entries in SAP and LIMS as per requirement.
• To maintain the equipment/instrument inoperational, calibrated and qualified condition.
• To handle, store the testing samples as perthe respective material/ product requirement.
• To charge Stability samples as defined in SOPand stability protocols.
• To handle and dispose the testing samples/rejectionsafter completion of analysis as per SOP.
• To ensure all primary standards/workingstandards/certified standards/reference standards are stored as per the storageconditions specified and documented.
• To ensure laboratory inventory management.
• To initiate incidence/ OOS/ OOT/ OOC/Deviation /CAPA /Change control and investigate (if required) underconsultation with the department head/section head.
• To prepare the specification, standardoperating procedure, general test procedure and any other applicable document forquality control department.
• Responsible for maintaining a neat and systematicwork area at all times.
• Responsible for following Current GoodLaboratory Practices (cGLP).
• Identify and report quality issues.
• Report accidents and unsafe conditions orunusual circumstances to section in-charge/ head.
• Other duties, which may be assigned from timeto time, by reporting manager.
• Ensure/check proper cleaning of QC glass wares/tools/apparatus.
• Understands the purpose and function of analyticalprocess and equipment/instrument.
• Execute procedures for analysis in accordancewith standard test procedures (STP), general testprocedure (GTP), protocol and related SOPs.
• Ability to document in log books, Test datasheets while performing the job using good documentation practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to write andrecord data as per ALCOA policy.
• Comply with the Privilege rights matrix (PRM)of the Organization.
