Job summary

Rakuten India is seeking a QA Lead to scale next-generation BSS systems in a cloud-native setup. You will lead automated testing efforts, drive end-to-end integration with 4G/5G cores, and employ AI-driven tooling to accelerate the SDLC. The role requires expertise in ecommerce or BSS testing, API testing, and secure IAM validation.

You will collaborate across engineering teams in Bengaluru, shaping testing strategies for reliability, performance, and data integrity in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in testing complex E-commerce or BSS ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of API testing and event-driven architecture (Kafka).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment verification.
• Expertise in identifying edge cases in complex business process orchestrations (Camunda/n8n).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing frameworks for high-performance BSS modules (Charging, Mediation, Billing).
• Lead end-to-end integration testing between BSS platforms and 4G/5G mobile network cores.
• Utilize AI-driven testing tools to generate test scripts, perform regression analysis, and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Validate data integrity within Document Databases (MongoDB/Couchbase) during high-volume transaction processing.
• Oversee security testing and IAM validation (Keycloak) to ensure system compliance.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead to join our core engineering team. You will be responsible scaling next-generation Business Support Systems (BSS) within a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who thrives on complex systems integration, understands the intricacies of telecommunications and digital commerce, and is a pioneer in leveraging AI-driven workflows to accelerate the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
