Job summary

SOTI Inc is hiring a QA tester to ensure quality across mobile, web and API testing. You will analyze requirements, design test cases, execute tests, and collaborate with developers to reproduce and verify fixes.

Responsibilities include API, mobility and web testing, database validation, and using CI/CD tooling like Azure DevOps, Jenkins and Jira. Strong communication is essential for cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Functional testing and must be passionate about quality.
• Strong analytical skills to find good test scenarios.
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST API.
• Strong knowledge of Mobility (Android, iOS & Windows) and Web tech.
• Database testing knowledge (SQL and NoSQL) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana).
• Knowledge of QA processes and ability to create strong test cases and reviews.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and Jira.
• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute test plans and test cases.
• Perform API, web and mobile testing across platforms.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Follow QA processes and contribute to test case reviews.
• Work with CI/CD tools to ensure smooth builds and deployments.
• Communicate defects clearly and track progress in Jira.

Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge on QA processes and methodology, with ability to create excellent test cases and TC reviews.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GHE, Jenkins (CI & CD), visual studio, Jira or any other testing tools.
• Good debugging & troubleshooting skills.
• Have sounds knowledge on Regression testing, security testing, performance testing, Backward compatibility testing, Database testing ,system testing, Black Box testing, UAT, Integration testing etc.
• Good to have Knowledge on languages like C#, Java Script, VB Script or any scripting language etc.,
• Good to have knowledge on Microservice based architecture with cloud knowledge.
• Good communication and interpersonal skill (Written and speaking).
