Job summary

SOTI Inc. is seeking a QA Engineer to design and run test cases, implement BDD in C#, and actively participate in scrum ceremonies. You will test across Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux platforms, ensuring high-quality deliverables while expanding technical know-how.

The role targets early-career professionals with a CS/STEM background and 0–2 years of QA experience, offering growth in a global mobility solutions company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM field.
• 0–2 years of QA experience in web or mobile software.
• Solid fundamentals in data structures and OOP concepts.
• Exposure to programming languages such as C#, Java, Python.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases and features following standard test design.
• Implement BDD using C#.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies (planning, grooming, retro, demos).
• Perform device-side testing across Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Complete QA training within deadlines and propose improvements.
• Continuously upgrade technical and product knowledge.

• Create and execute test cases and features by following standard test design practices
• Create BDD implementation using C#
• Actively participate in all scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, grooming, retrospective and demos
• Ensure high-quality standards on all deliverables by testing applications and performing device-side testing on various platforms such as Android, iOS, Windows, MAC and Linux
• Complete all product and QA process training within expected deadlines
• Propose logical solutions to business problems
• Continually upgrade technical and product know-how
• Adept at working with minimal guidance

Experience You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or any STEM-related programs
• 0-2 years of QA experience in a web-based or mobile software environment
• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals such as Data Structures and OOPS concepts
• Exposure to any programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, etc.
• Good communication, logical and problem-solving skills
