Position Overview

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive QA Engineer with strong expertise in Manual Testing, Database Validation, Backend Testing, and Modern Test Automation.

The ideal candidate should have experience in validating complex business workflows, executing backend jobs, verifying data across remote databases, and developing scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and AI‑powered testing tools.

The candidate should be passionate about delivering high‑quality software, identifying edge cases, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
• Perform end‑to‑end testing across web applications and backend systems.
• Validate business workflows and ensure application stability before production releases.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release validation.

Database Testing

• Connect securely to remote databases to verify application data.
• Validate data integrity, consistency, and correctness between frontend and backend.
• Execute SQL queries to verify inserts, updates, deletes, joins, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Perform database validation after application transactions.
• Verify data migration and synchronization processes.
• Identify data discrepancies and work with development teams for resolution.
• Ensure database performance and data accuracy during testing activities.

Backend Testing

• Perform API validation and backend workflow testing.
• Manually execute cron jobs and scheduled backend processes.
• Validate asynchronous processes and background services.
• Monitor logs to identify backend failures and unexpected behaviors.
• Verify backend calculations, scheduled tasks, notifications, reports, and data processing.
• Collaborate with developers to validate backend integrations and workflows.

Automation Testing

• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Automate regression, smoke, and critical business workflows.
• Write reusable and maintainable automation scripts.
• Execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
• Generate automation reports and analyze failures.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and execution efficiency.
• Integrate automation into release cycles.

AI‑Driven Testing

• Utilize AI‑powered testing tools for intelligent test generation and maintenance.
• Leverage AI capabilities to reduce manual effort and improve testing efficiency.
• Implement self‑healing automation where applicable.
• Evaluate emerging AI testing technologies and recommend improvements.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Business Analysts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide quality metrics and testing status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of high‑quality software releases.
