Job summary
AssetMark Global Wealth in Hyderabad is seeking a proactive QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications through automated testing and early shift-left involvement. Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building automated test suites for UI and API layers.
- Experience with GitHub for source control, PRs, and CI/CD triggers via GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on with Azure DevOps for pipelines, work items, and build automation.
- Proficient in Python and Java for test utilities and scripts.
- Experience using AI agents or Copilot in testing workflows.
- Understand full stack architecture for comprehensive test coverage.
- Proficiency in VS Code with Python/Java extensions and debugging tools.
- Strong SQL skills for backend data verification in Snowflake and relational DBs.
Responsibilities
- Automation & Test Engineering (Primary Focus)
- Build, maintain, and scale automated UI, API, and data test suites using Playwright, Python, and Java
- Write and execute SQL validation scripts against Snowflake to verify data accuracy, ETL pipeline integrity, and transformation logic
- Develop test utilities, helper libraries, and reusable automation components in Python and Java using VS Code
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Use GitHub Copilot and AI agents to accelerate test code generation, triage flaky tests, and streamline QA workflows
- Quality Assurance & Test Design
- Design risk-based test cases and execute complex regression, integration, and data validation scenarios across environments
- Translate requirements into test plans, identify defects early, and document issues with clear reproduction steps
- Shift-Left & Full Stack Collaboration
- Engage in sprint planning and design reviews to assess testability and surface quality risks early
- Apply full stack awareness — front-end through back-end — to ensure end-to-end coverage across the entire application
- Process & Metrics
- Track and report test results, quality metrics, and pipeline health
