Job summary

Vertis Digital is seeking an experienced QA Engineer specialized in automation to drive testing strategy and ensure product quality. You will develop automated tests, collaborate with product teams, and mentor junior QA engineers on best practices.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to work onsite at the Hyderabad office in Hitec City. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead QA role.
• Some experience with software testing concepts and methodologies is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of software quality assurance.
• Candidates must be based in Hyderabad and willing to work onsite from our Hitec City, Hyderabad office.
• Immediate joiners or candidates who can start at very short notice are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing using automation tools.
• Continuously improve the automation framework and expand test coverage.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code standards.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on the quality of the product.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices and automation techniques.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automation testing tools and methodologies.
• Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and project deadlines.
