Job summary

Jayant Printery LLP in Palghar, Maharashtra, is seeking a QA/Compliance Manager to lead our pharma audit readiness program at the Palghar plant. You will own gap analysis against pharma vendor qualification standards and build out audit documentation to help pass client audits.

You'll coordinate with production, quality control, and business development to close gaps, prepare SOPs and batch records, and support on-site vendor qualifications with pharma clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Packaging Technology, Quality Management, or related field.
• Experience in pharma packaging QA, vendor qualification audits, or GMP-regulated manufacturing.
• Strong documentation skills, SOPs, and audit checklists.
• Attention to detail and cross-functional coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct gap analysis against pharma vendor qualification standards (GMP, cGMP-adjacent packaging requirements, ISO where applicable).
• Build and maintain an audit readiness checklist and documentation.
• Prepare SOPs, batch records, and validation documents for audits.
• Coordinate with production, quality control, and business development to close gaps.
• Support on-site vendor qualification audits by pharma clients.
• Track CAPAs from internal reviews and audits.

About Us

Jayant Printery LLP is a print manufacturing company with a large facility near JNPT, running three production lines: book printing and bindery, mono cartons and leaflets, and extrusion-coated paper. We are expanding our pharma packaging business and preparing our Palghar mono carton and leaflet line to meet the quality and compliance standards pharma companies require of their packaging vendors.

About the Role

We're looking for a QA/Compliance Manager to lead our pharma audit readiness program at the Palghar plant. You'll own the gap analysis between our current operations and pharma vendor qualification requirements, build out our audit checklist and supporting documentation, and drive the plant toward passing vendor audits from pharma clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a detailed gap analysis of current mono carton and leaflet printing operations against pharma vendor qualification standards (GMP, cGMP-adjacent packaging requirements, ISO where applicable)
• Build and maintain an audit readiness checklist covering documentation, process controls, hygiene, traceability, and quality systems
• Prepare SOPs, batch records, and validation documentation required for pharma vendor audits
• Coordinate with production, quality control, and business development teams to close identified gaps
• Support and prepare for on-site vendor qualification audits conducted by pharma clients
• Liaise with quality control initiatives on the line, including camera-based inspection systems being evaluated for defect detection
• Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) arising from internal reviews and client audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Pharmacy, Packaging Technology, Quality Management, or related)

Required Skills

• Prior experience in pharma packaging QA, vendor qualification audits, or GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
• Strong working knowledge of documentation systems, SOPs, and audit checklists
• Experience with pharma packaging materials (cartons, leaflets, foils) preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and process discipline
• Strong communication skills to coordinate across production, quality, and client-facing teams
